3rd EU-JAPAN COMPETITION WEEK
The 3rd EU-Japan Competition Week took place online from 16 to 18 November 2022. The closed-door sessions focused on approaches to competition enforcement, efforts towards sustainability goals, the use of remedies in prohibition decisions, and the investigation of mergers in digital markets. Recent developments in the regulation of digital markets were also discussed.
The exchanges allowed both sides to address the priorities and challenges in their competition policy and enforcement and to engage in constructive technical and practical exchanges.
